This walk takes advantage of the lowest tide of 2026 to walk the beach from Tenby to Saundersfoot.
The views of rarely seen rocks are amazing and it is sometimes possible to collect shellfish. We shall take our time to appreciate the scene.
We will have a break after we get through or around Monkstone Point. (depending on the state of the tide)
The Chemist Inn on the beach at Saundersfoot for liquid refreshment at the end.
Even though the tide will be out, it can be wet underfoot and there are awkward sections over rocks. The exact nature of these difficulties depends on exactly how low the tide is and could mean that we need to turn back.
A large group walk of this nature is not suitable for dogs.
Please check the website on the day of the walk as adverse wind conditions may mean it has to be cancelled.
Tenby North Beach car park. 5 hour: £4.00 (Car) 24 hour: £5.00 (Car) A free CP is available opposite Tenby Leisure Centre, although this will involve an additional mile walk.
