Overview

You must book for this walk using the email link provided

I will update this description after the walkover. Please read it again in the week before the walk.

We meet at Bexley Station. The 9.45 am train from London Bridge arrives at Bexley at 10.17 am.

The walk is 7.6 Miles long. There is no station drop out point but we cross the A20 at about the half way point, where there are bus stops for routes 160, 229, 269, 286 and R11.

The walk ends at Petts Wood station where there are regular trains to London Bridge Station and beyond.

We will lunch al fresco so please bring a picnic.

From the guide book there do not appear to be any obvious toilet facilities.

The walk is mainly though parks and common land with only a few excursions into suburbia. The first section of the walk continues along the River Cray. In the guide book the walk is described as one of the most "green" sections of the London Loop.
