Duncan Terrace Cafe is close to Angel Tube Station. It has indoor/outdoor tables and a toilet. Please arrave by 10.45 at the very latest. The optional walk will start at 11.00.
We join the Regent's Canal, with a diversion into Rosemary Gardens after 1 mile, close to bus stops. We return to the canal and continue towards Victoria Park, passing other drop-out points along the way. At Victoria Park there are toilets and more bus stops. We then continue towards Mile End Tube Station where there is a possibility of tea.
Bring a picnic lunch if you plan to walk beyond Rosemary Gardens.
Duncan Terrace Cafe, 391 City Road, EC1V 1NE. On leaving Angel Tube Station, turn left and walk along Upper Street, to the junction with City Road. Turn left into City Road, cross Torrens Street and continue. The cafe is in the opening off the pavement just before the corner of Duncan Terrace. Buses 56, 205, etc stop outside (Angel/City Road stop).
