Overview

The route takes us almost due south through Snapes Wood/Birchetts Wood and Sinden Wood to Buttons. From there we walk via Dens Wood and Batts Wood Cottages to Bivelham Forge Farm. The route continues via Hare Holt, Wadhurst Park Lake and Combe Manor Farm to join Riseden Road and back through Snape Wood to Wadhurst.
Poles recommended for a few heavy muddy sections. However, several farm tracks and very quiet lanes as a light relief!!
If the weather is poor, the walk will be reduced to 10.2 miles.
