Overview

North via Yewtree Grange to Parkhouse Hill. Round base of hill to Glutton Grange and on to road through Dowell Dale and take footpath at side of National Trust Greenside Farm. This brings us to narrow minor road. Turn right and shortly take bridleway on left which runs alongside road above Hindlow Quarry to A5053 road. Cross onto footpath and after about 3/4 mile take path on right down through Earl Sterndale to Beggars Bridge  back to Longnor.
