Overview

We go North via Yewtree Grange to Parkhouse Hill, going round the base to Glutton Grange and then up through Dowell Dale to take the path by National Trust Greenside Farm. This brings us to a narrow minor road. where we turn right and take paths which run high above Hillhead, Hindlow and Downlow Quarries. We descend East of Earl Sterndale to Beggars Bridge and back to Longnor. See Map
