We are the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Pre-registration preferred **
Slow paced 7 mile walk - undulating with some flat sections and some road walking. Expected muddy.
About 4 hours walking.
Route: via Woodcock Hill Village Green, Scratchwood Open Space, Moat Mount Open Space, Totteridge Fields, Dollis Valley Greenwalk.
Lunch: in Barnet at end of walk. Stop for drink and snack if needed on the way. No facilities.
Meet at Elstree & Borehamwood Station (Zone 6 - toilets on platform 1) at 09.45.
Travel: Blackfriars 09.09/Farringdon 09.14/St. Pancras 09.18 (Platform B)/West Hampstead 09.28 - Thameslink train - arr 09.42.
Finish: New Barnet for walk/bus to High Barnet Underground station - or bus to Elstree & Borehamwood or Edgware.
