Overview

A walk through Houndtor Wood along the river and through Lustleigh Cleave. Quite a strenuous climb up through the woods to Foxworthy and on to Hunters Tor where we will have lunch (weather permitting). Across the downs to Sharpitor and through Hisley Woods before winding our way back to the car park. Quite a bit of the walk is through the woodland, good paths but with tree roots, etc., so good footwear essential. Woodland, riverside paths, open downs, with a little bit of road walking.
