This is a circular walk visiting a number of the popular locations in the vicinity but not necessary via the popular routes. It will only be about 10 miles but is quite hilly with about 1500 ft of ascent. Consequently there are quite a few viewpoints if the weather is kind. Please bring a picnic lunch. However there may be some refreshment options at both morning break & lunch stop but not guaranteed.
The start location is on Maidensgrove Common with off road parking available on the road between Russell's Water & Maidensgrove. Grid Ref SU719887 being a rough midpoint.
