Starts at Penenden Heath, Sandy Lane, Childrens Play Area, Free CP. Heading north, under Motorway, through pasture fields to Boxley when we climb through an increasing gradient to the North Downs Way overlooking the valley. Then east eventually decending through Detling, with optional loop, into Thurnham. Lunch at Black Horse Pub or Picnic with seating in church grounds. Return almost flat all the way back to Boxley and Penenden Heath. EX148.
Free Car Park adjacent to Childrens Play area, accessed from Sandy Lane, off Penenden Heath Road. Leave M20 at J7, and head east on Bearstead and Penenden Heath Road.
