Overview

Starting from the Newmarket Road park & ride the walk goes via the new housing development of Marleigh Park, then through the considerably older village of Fen Ditton, followed by a pleasant stretch of the River Cam before heading back through Marleigh to the P&R car park.

Bring snack/drink for mid-morning coffee break.

For Newmarket Road P&R from the city centre:-  PR2 bus leaves from Drummer Street stop D1; these go every 10 minutes and the journey to Newmarket Road P&R takes about 15 minutes.  

Parking at the P&R is free; there are vending machines and toilets at the waiting area.
