We offer walks in London and Home Counties, accessible by public transport.
A walk through the Walthamstow Wetlands and neighbouring marshes. The walk is timed to coincide with nesting activity in the well-established heronry. The paths may be muddy. There are good toilets in Liverpool St and at lunch. Drop out point at lunch. Sorry, dogs are not allowed in the Wetlands.
Lunch: At the picnic area in the Wetlands, with nearby café/toilets.
Train: To Clapton Overground (Zone 2 and 3); Liverpool Street 10:33 arr 10:43 (Chingford train). Return from Tottenham Hale (Zone 3) served by the Victoria Line and National Rail.
