A walk through the forest to a fine viewpoint above the Carron Valley Reservoir followed by a stroll around the reservoir.

From Todholes car park, we follow forestry tracks and a hill path to gain the summit of Meikle Bin by the north west ridge. We descend south and east to the forest to pick up a track to the Carron Valley Reservoir. We then return along the south west shore to the start.

Local Grade: B+

Terrain: Forestry roads, tracks and hill paths - will be boggy in places.

Max height: 570 m.
