Overview

A flat walk with no stiles walking along the canal towpath passing Rufford Old Hall and Fettlers Wharf.  We continue along the towpath crossing over the canal bridge then make our way towards The Cricket Club and through Mere Sands Wood Nature Reserve.  The walk continues along a track through agricultural fields and past the old hospital.
