Overview

Long walk Meet: 10am at lay-by alongside Cricket Ground at Buckhurst Hill, off A121 (Loughton to Buckhurst Hill road) opposite Roebuck Lane. Parking charges apply in car park but free parking possible in roads opposite. Buses 20 and 397 stop nearby. Epping Forest ramble to Springfield Farm, Lippitts Hill via High Beach (approx 6 miles). Hopefully avoiding mud. Return walk after lunch back to Buckhurst Hill (approx 4 miles), led by Janis. Short walk Meet: 11am at Bury Road car park, Chingford. Circular forest walk to Springfield Farm, returning to car park after lunch. Lunch stop for both walks: Springfield Farm and/or The Owl PH. See Programme Notes for more details.
