We are the Sutton Coldfield Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A leisurely 4-mile walk in Sutton Park. Starting from the car park near Blackroot Bistro, we walk along the side of Blackroot Pool, through the woods to Bracebridge. Then we cross the dam, go over the railway and through Darnel Hurst before crossing the Arena to the golf course. After crossing the fairway, we go through open woodland to the top of Longmore Valley, where we pick up Lord Donegal's Ride and follow it to the Jamboree Stone, where we all meet for free mince pies. Finally, we drop down through Lower Nut Hurst to our cars.
