Starting at Minions east Car Park, we walk up Caradon Hill to take in the views.
Then down past Wheal Tor cottage before having lunch in amongst the historic mine works. After lunch we walk back through the extensive mine works.
There is one river to cross which could be very easy or a little more challenging. The walk is then along some remnants of the Kilmar railway before arriving at the Hurlers car park where some who want a shorter walk may choose to leave us.
From the Hurlers car park we walk to the Bronze Age Hurlers stone circle and the Pipers stone rows and then on to Tregarrick Tor overlooking Siblyback Reservoir for lunch. After lunch we walk across Craddock Moor to the Cheesewring before returning to the first car park.
There are toilets between the two carparks at Minions.
We will be departing from the Cheesewring car park (the east car park), and not the Hurlers carpark, (the west car park). The car parks are close together.
