Stone monuments ancient and new: Mitchell's Fold stone circle, which is around 3,000 years old and the brand new stone-mounted toposcope on Bromlow Callow. We'll also walk by the three cairns on Stapeley Hill and over Castle Ring hill fort too.
It's hilly country with some very rough, uneven ground in places but we'll follow lanes, tracks, woodland and field paths for most of the walk. 282m of ascent but no really steep slopes.
As usual, we'll have two 'picnic' stops so bring a packed lunch and drink flask as well as water.
