We are the Northampton Group (Ramblers Northampton). We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Join me for a pleasant walk from Chelveston, walking along the edge of Rushden golf course, around and through pastures and arable land heading towards Newton Bromswold where we can take a refreshment break at the church. Following on to Yelden and back to Chelveston through the old airfield . We encounter livestock on the route (so assistance dogs only please). There are a few stiles.
Lunch can be enjoyed at The Star and Garter pub at the end of the walk.
Only use the pub car park if patronising after the walk. Alternate parking is available further along and around the bends within a slip road/ layby.
