We are the Uttlesford Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We will meet in the large car park of the Black Horse. After pre ordering our lunch we will depart at 10 am at the back of the pub car park. We make our way though the equestrian area. We then walk along a farm track, fields and muddy paths before reaching Ford End.We carry on along the banks of the river Stort before reaching Starling's Green . We will then loop our way to Washall Green before returning to the pub for (optional) pub lunch.
Car park of The Black Horse PH, Brent Pelham, SG9 0AP. Directions: From Newport follow the B1038 into Brent Pelham. At the church do not turn left to follow the B1038 but go straight ahead. The entrance to the pub car park will be on your right after approx. 200 yards.
