The Rising Sun -- in Memory of Mark

The Rising Sun PH at Halls Green near Weston was a favourite pub of Mark Westley, a regular walker with the Uttlesford Ramblers and long-term stalwart of the Hertfordshire Ramblers who sadly and unexpectedly passed away a year ago. It seems befitting to walk from The Rising Sun on the anniversary of his passing and have an (optional) lunch and pint (or other drink of your choosing) in his memory. 

Please provide your lunch pre-orders to the walk leader by Monday, 9th February -- see link below to the standard menu and the "Golden Years Menu" (2 courses for £ 18.50). [A limited number of walk-in orders can be accommodated on the day.]

No stiles but some muddy conditions should be expected at this time of year. [Sorry, no cafes on the way as the cafe on our route is closed for the winter.]
