Overview

A popular walk along part of the Green Chain Route to include the "Railway Children" path, then up and over a steep and high bridge, but with great views, followed by Downham Woodland Walk, then Beckenham Place Park and Cator Park. Various drop out points available.

Food: at the mansion in Beckenham Place Park, or a picnic nearby.

Travel: Charing Cross 10.20, calling at Waterloo East 10.23, London Bridge 10.29, arriving Mottingham 10.47.
