Overview

A linear walk from Musselburgh to Seton Sands, following the John Muir Way and returning to Musselburgh via LRT bus 26 (so remember to bring your bus pass if you have one!). Weather depending we’ll take a detour to the bird hides at the Musselburgh Lagoons.
There is an optional 1.5 mile extension at the end of the walk to take a detour up towards Seton Collegiate Church and through the Seton Dean Woodland Trust Reserve should walkers choose this option.
Walk is on a good path and is relatively flat. Dress appropriately for the weather as there is little shelter from the weather.
