A new walk from The Ash Tree via town, fields, Cannock Chase and canal

A varied walk taking in some urban paths, fields, wooded parts of Cannock Chase and the Trent and Mersey Canal towpath. Only a couple of stiles but 2 short, steeper sections and also a long but slow climb on the Chase to a trig point. (It is possible to shorten your walk slightly by pausing on the Chase and awaiting the return of the group from reaching the trig point). Please park at the far end of the car park of the Ash Tree pub, if possible, and also patronise the pub at the end of the walk if you can.
