Overview

A gentle morning leaving Newent to the north via the Oxenhall canal, joining part of the Daffodil Way via fields and woods to Dymock. Dymock church should be open (display about the Dymock Poets, pre- First World War).  The Beauchamp Arms will be open and with a pop-up shop on Saturdays. Option here to end the walk and return by hourly 232 bus to Newent.

The continuing route is longer, and returns via Ketford, Botloe's Green and The Scarr back to Newent Lake. NB gates to climb. Bring coffee, and lunch if continuing on foot.
