Overview

A leisurely linear walk of about six miles on both firm and grass surfaces with two modest inclines, via East Sheen Common, Richmond Park and the Thames Path.  The walk will pass the White Lodge built in 1727 and currently the home of the Royal Ballet School and Pen Ponds in the centre of Richmond Park.  Cafe/picnic stop at Pembroke Lodge.  Toilets available at Sheen Gate after about 20 minutes and at Pembroke Lodge.  Should finish by about 15.30.
