Overview

We head out to the Western reaches of The Chilterns for a walk which provides fine views of the Berkshire Downs and the Oxfordshire plain.

From Holy Trinity Church we’ll follow a circular anti-clockwise route via Ipsden Heath, Well Place, Scots Common and Horse Path to the Maharajah’s Well at Stoke Row. We’ll return to the church via Bush Wood and Howberrywood. The walk is at a moderate to brisk pace along well-defined paths including sections of the Chiltern Way. The terrain is undulating with a few short (steep) inclines. Total 270m ascent.

Please bring refreshments and a packed lunch
