Nymans Woods, Staplefield & Balcombe – 10 Miles
An undulating 10-mile circular walk through Sussex countryside, farmland and woodland. The route starts and finishes through the National Trust’s Nymans Woods, passing via Staplefield and to Balcombe, for a picnic lunch stop for circa 30 mins around 6 miles.
If it has been raining, paths may be muddy or slippery in places, so good footwear is advised.
Toilets are available just inside the Nymans entrance – please allow time to return to the start point for a 10.30 am start.
Dogs are welcome but must be on leads in fields with livestock.
Cars required – please car share if possible. Meet opposite the Red Lion Pub in Handcross for a 10.30 am start.
