Overview

We walk out of Oakham to the Gorse Field Wood, then onto Brooke where we do a loop around the village where we will have lunch.

We then take the path from Brooke to Gunthorpe, then across fields to Egleton village before returning to on part of the Rutland Round path back to Oakham.

Several stiles in the morning plus some hills.

No dogs please as there are livestock in the fields.

Given the time of year mud is inevitable.

There will be the usual lunch and coffee stops.

Please consider car sharing arrangements with other members to reduce the pressure on parking spots at the start of the walk.
