Overview

From pub along A525 to go over railway bridge, and turn left on Red Lane, an old drovers track ( Could be very muddy ). Then field paths and track to join Station Road. Coffee stop at end of road. Cross Onnerley Cricket Club car park and across A525 to Field House. The route then follows field and woodland paths above Madeley with views of the Long Mynd, Peckforton Hills, Joderell bank, Mow Cop and Keele Church. We then walk down a lane, across a field to walk round the Duck Pond back to the pub.

The pub is offering a pensioners lunch.  One course - £9.95, two courses - £12.95, three courses - £15.95.  Menus may be available before the walk date.  If not, Melanie will have them on the day and provide the pub with a list of people’s selections
