Overview

We walk along the top of Upperdale, then quite a steep descent to Hay Dale (Poles would be a big help ) and then the road to enter Cressbrook Dale Nature Reserve. This is followed by a gentle climb to the top of Wardlow Hay Cop. We take paths across the top and bottom of Cressbrook Dale, then down to Litton Mill. Turning left into Water Cum Jolly Dale and over New Bridge to join the Monsal Trail back to Monsal Head.
