We've done variations of this walk in the past, but not for a while and our recce reminded us how glorious it is. Fields and lanes, a long green lane, and a good hike up and along the Offa's Dyke path. Sadly, we can't offer tea and cake as we used to, but we can promise peace and quiet and wonderful views.
Expect mud and water and at this time of the year there's likely to be a cold breeze up on the Dyke, so come prepared. Several stiles (one dodgy) but generally easy walking underfoot. A steep and rather muddy descent towards the end, a pole may be helpful.
