Overview

This is a circular walk that takes us down Compton Down to Compton Lock and along the  River Itchen to Shawford and then up to Shawford Down.
After a quick coffee break we then head to Silkstead on the Monarch's Way. Finally we revisit Compton Down where we can have  a picnic before returning to the Recreation Ground.

THERE IS NO MAXIMUM LIMIT FOR THE NUMBER OF WALKERS ON THIS WALK BUT YOU MUST BOOK A PLACE.
