We are the West Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
An interesting walk through the village of Lockeridge, passing the sarcen stones at Lockeridge Dean and into West Woods. We continue on part of the Wansdyke and find evidence of Neolithic Man with a hidden long barrow and a mysterious standing stone (based on National Trust walk entitled Lockeridge Dene). Bring snack.

Park and meet in West Woods Forestry Commission car park (off Ryles Lane/Hillside, Lockeridge; there are two Forestry Commission car parks, please refer to Grid reference). It is not the car park with picnic tables near Clatford Bottom.
