Delightful explore of some super heaths and woods within the M25.
We start at Oxshott station and cross Oxshott Heath, and explore Esher Common before crossing the A3 to traverse the Ledges above the river Mole to West End Common.
Whilst generally flat, some interesting and entertaining undulations take us past scenic ponds to a lunch stop with a pub, a farm shop, a cafe and a simpler pleasant open space.
Our return takes us to the high ground of Esher Common before further woodland adventures and crossing the giant sand pit on Oxshott Heath and returning to the station.
This walk could be muddy in places.
