Overview

Starting from railway station car park, we cross the Dyfi river using the historic traffic free bridge, where we then walk alongside the A493 for 300 yards, before turning off and following  the narrow tarmacked lane uphill. This pull up is the most strenuous part of the walk which is varied, with open views across the Dyfi river, upland grazing, forest, farm ruins, and rock legend history.   There is an opportunity to extend the walk by a mile depending on weather, time and interest.
