The Beachy Head Ramblers opens the way for everyone to enjoy walking the downs, clifftops, and wealdways of our area.
From Exceat through Seven Sisters Country Park then into Friston Forest heading broadly NE passing Middle Brow, Snap Hill Long Brow Then south west through the forest to Charleston Bottom (lunch stop) and back along the Cuckmere River to Exceat.
Some paths in the forest are quite steep and slippery. A walking pole is recommended.
For those wanting a short walk and coming by bus it is possible to leave the walk just before entering Friston Forest near Gayles Farm at the 2 mile mark and getting the bus back.
