Overview

From Firle car park, we head towards Firle Place and walk through the grounds to Charleston Farm, where we’ll take a toilet stop. We then continue on to Tilton Farm. At Tilton Farm, we turn right towards Firle Beacon, crossing farmland that will be muddy after the recent rain. The route then climbs gradually up a steep hill. Once at the top, we follow the ridge—this section can be challenging in windy weather.

Next, we turn right across a field towards Norton Farm and continue along Poverty Bottom, passing Blackcap Farm, before heading back to Firle. Sturdy walking boots - it will be muddy - (cold) weather and wind proof gear is a must.
