Therfield Heath has roughly a quarter of the UK population of the rare chalk grassland Pasque Flower (Pulsatilla vulgaris). The walk will take us to Church Hill, where they should be in flower. We will then carry on through the land of Thrift Farm to re-emerge at the very far end of the Heath and walk the whole length back to the Heath Cafe and car park.
The Heath Cafe will be open before and after the walk. Please buy a drink if you want to use its lavatories.
Parking in the car park does not require use of the cafe.
Assistance dogs only as the walk includes a farmyard with sheep.
Walk start is about 20 minutes walk from Royston Station
