Overview

The first Winnie-the Pooh story was published in the London Evening News on the 24th of December 1925, and it was called The Wrong Sort of Bees based on a bedtime story that A.A. Milne told to his young son, Christopher. Its popularity led to Milne publishing his book ‘Winnie-the-Pooh’ in 1926, and an adapted version of this story became the first chapter.
We head to Galleons Lap (Gills Lap) also known as the Enchanted Place, and Westwards downwards toward the North Pole and into Wrens Warren Valley with Eeyore’s Gloomy Place somewhere to the right of us.
After passing the stream where Roo fell in, and Pooh discovered the North Pole and used it to rescue Roo, and they stuck the pole in the ground and Christopher Robin tied a notice to it.; we climb up to  the mysterious100 Aker Wood (Five Hundred Acre Wood ) as we downhill  through it. When we reach the edge of  it  we head West to Possingford Wood and Pooh Sticks bridge, where we stop briefly to play Pooh Sticks. After towards we return to Gills Lap
Option drink afterwards in The Hatch Inn.
