We are the Medway Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starts at 10:00 hrs: Meet at Car Park at Penenden Heath on Sandy Lane ME14 2DQ /// what3words skill.lake.scare. Plentiful free parking at far end of Penenden Heath (ME14 2DQ, TQ772574). From the start point we will make our way up to the North Downs Way and follow this eastbound over Jade's Crossing to Detling where we will stop for a picnic lunch at a viewpoint. From there we return to the start point via Thurnham and Jade's Crossing. Pub at end.
Terrain: Mostly footpaths through fields and woods, two fairly steep ascents. Circular walk.
