Overview

We are raising money to install a memorial bench to celebrate the activities of our sadly departed member Bob Fraser. Bob was a true gentleman. He was a kind, quietly spoken, patient, supportive, inspirational and knowledgeable Rights of Way Officer. Living in Penryn, Bob’s activities had a massive impact on keeping our rights of way open both locally and throughout Cornwall. Everyone who loves walking in Cornwall and every member of Ramblers, Cornwall South & West have benefited from his work.

This is one of two walks that will start from Penryn University campus on this day: note that this is the shorter of the two so the walk will begin at 11.30 am. Our aim is to enjoy a circular walk taking in Mabe then hold a raffle beside our cars at the end. Kelly has been selling tickets on recent walks and will continue to do so; tickets will also be available to buy on the day (£5 per set of 5). We are asking members to donate small prizes for the draw. Please bring prizes along on the day or hand over to Kelly when you see her on a walk.

Donations can also be made directly through JustGiving  (link below)
