Overview

We will start the walk from the Penshurst Place car park. Parking is free.

The walk will take us up to the top of the ridge, from where we will take a quiet lane down to the main road.  Crossing the road and walking alongside the Medway river into Haysden Country Park we will walk around Haysden lake and return to the top of the ridge, from where we will take a loop back to the start, offering wonderful views of Penshurst Place and and Penshurst Church.

No stiles. Dogs welcome on leads. Possible livestock in some of the Penshurst Estate fields. A few inclines throughout the walk.

Post walk refreshments can be found at the Porcupine Cafe Pantry adjacent to the car park or the Leicester Arms is a short distance away in the centre of the village.
