This is a linear walk following the London Loop to Keston (Keston Ponds) on what is one of the greenest sections of the London Loop with minimal road walking. From Petts Wood we head to Jubilee Country Park (a conservation area) and on to Farnborough before our lunch stop at High Elms Country Park where there are toilet facilities and a café. Please bring a packed lunch.
After lunch we go along paths through woods and fields passing the Wilberforce Memorial Oak and onto Keston Common and its ponds which are the source of the River Ravensbourne.
The final section of the walk tracks the Ravensbourne through woods to Norman Park (Bromley) followed by a short spell of road walking to Bromley South Railway station where the walk ends.
Drop-out points: Farnborough High Street after 3.5 miles for bus 358 for either Orpington Railway Station or Bromley South Railway Station and at Keston after 7.5 miles for bus 320 to Bromley South Railway Station.
No booking required.

The finishing time is an estimate only and will be dependent on a number of factors such as, weather, the speed at which the group walks and the number of breaks taken.
