Welcome to Capital Walkers, the friendly London Ramblers group for people aged 40+. We walk every weekend and usually at least once during the week.
This is a stunning walk over the high pine-topped heath of Chobham Common, some delightful woods and a short more open section around the nearby verdant farm paddocks. We enjoy good view south towards Woking and the North Downs and visit the enchanting "Fishpool".
Pub stop (Four Horseshoes) at lunchtime but bring sandwiches, some tables and grassy area outside.
Travel: Take the 9.50 Reading train from Waterloo (Clapham Junction 9.58) to Longcross Station arriving at 10.35 for 10.40 start.
Trains return to London from station at 14 and 44 past the hour.
No booking required.
