Overview

A very scenic circular walk in the Brecon Beacons National Park, with two reservoirs, a Roman Road, the Brinmore Tramroad and through the abandoned Hendre Quarry.

Note:  One section of the walk is on a path with a fairly steep drop on one side.

Start from Pontsticill Reservoir. From Pontsticill, take Pontsticill Road towards Pontsticill Station on the Brecon Mountain Railway line and park on roadside when you arrive at the reservoir.
