A moderate to brisk paced linear walk to Glynde Station led by Thomas G (Mobile No: 07775 676092) joint with Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster Group with a long ascent up onto Seaford Head at the start... but rewarding sea and Downland views! About 5.5 hours actual walking.
Route: from Seaford Station to the seafront, then east along the promenade and up onto and across Seaford Head, down to Cuckmere Haven and following the Vanguard Way to Exceat; South Downs Way to Litlington and Alfriston (lunch stop after 7.2 miles - pubs and cafes); then SDW onto the South Downs and over Bostal Hill and Firle Beacon to Firle, farm tracks and lanes to Glynde. Refreshments at end of walk: Steamworks in Glynde Station or the re-opened Trevor Arms.
