Overview

Circular over gently undulating terrain following the Sussex Border Path via Great Shoesmiths Farm and Wood's Green to Cousley Wood for an early lunch stop after 3.5 miles at 'The Old Vine' pub at Cousley Wood (but bring own food). Then east to Bewl Water and along the shoreline of this attractive reservoir as far as Newbarn. The route back to the station is via Southfields, Whiligh, Wadhurst village, Pell Bridge and Turner's Green.  Map: E136, L188.
