A moderate-paced circular walk led by Adrian W (Mobile No: 07484864496 on day of walk only). Rolling well-wooded countryside, some rough paths and broken stiles. Stocklow Farm, Hadlow Down, Warren Farm, Scantlings Farm, Great Streele, Framfield, Palehouse Farm, Arches Manor, Newplace Farm, Tickerage Wood, Potter’s Green. Lunch at Framfield: picnic or at 'The Hare and Hounds' pub. Drop-out point: Framfield after 7 miles on hourly bus to Uckfield, but those leaving here will need a day return to Uckfield instead of Buxted. Map: E135/OL25, L199.
Check trains the day before. Buy return ticket to Buxted (Uckfield, if dropping out at Framfield).
Buxted Station at 10.16 (9.07 train from London Bridge (Uckfield service), calling at East Croydon at 9.22 and arriving at Buxted at 10:16). Return trains depart at 37 minutes past each hour
