The Beachy Head Ramblers opens the way for everyone to enjoy walking the downs, clifftops, and wealdways of our area.
A short pre Xmas lunch walk from the Pilot Inn along and around the promenade to the pier (refreshment stop) prior to the Xmas lunch. Stops along the way:
11.15 park next to former Princess Alice hospital -Lower Promenade
12.00 start of pier and site of round house Roman villa and Splash Point
12.37 low tide, walk along Middle Parades to end near Crow’s Nest to overlook foreshore and site of Holywell Village
All are welcome on the walk but the lunch is reserved for those who have pre booked. Boots and specialist clothing are not necessary as the walk will be on tarmac and gravel paths.
