Overview

A circular walk starting from Kingston (near Lewes), following Jugg’s road passed the windmill, then under the A27 and the railway with a gentle climb via Houndean and Cuckoo bottoms. Reaching the summit at Blackcap before descending via Ashcombe bottom and the South Downs Way to cross over the aA27 at Housedean Farm. After going under the railway again there’s a climb up to the summit ridge to rejoin Jugg’s Road which takes us back to Kingston
